This local Blue Mountains plant is a small to medium shrub 1-3 metres high with a bushy habit that has beautiful creamy yellow flowers in spring, (but don't hold your breath when the flower buds first appear as they take months to mature!) In the garden the plant requires moist, well drained soils in a sunny or lightly shaded position. It can be lightly pruned after flowering and benefits from a yearly application of low-phosphorus slow-release fertilizer (any suitable for natives)
