This native Grevillea has rather modest flowers but is an outstanding plant for attracting birds and providing nesting habitat, shelter and nectar for honeyeaters and insectivorous birds. It can get up to 3 metres tall but can also fill out to several metres wide to fill an area, but it is very tolerant of pruning to retain size and shape in the garden. When it's not in flower the dense foliage is an attractive soft dusty green, good for using as fill in flower arrangements. It likes to grow in sandy soils in rocky situations, in open woodland and forest, so within the garden does well with GOOD drainage and dappled to full sunshine.
