This lovely little bush of bright green divided leaves grows to less than 1metre in height, mainly in semi shade areas. It is endemic to the our Upper Mountains and with this limited range is considered to be rare. It flowers profusely from September to November. The flowers are held in loose spikes and have 4 white tepals with 4 large yellow anthers surrounding a short carpel which is unusual in the Proteaceae. It should be planted in well drained, light soils which do not dry out. This is a plant that is perfect for the garden as it is attractive both in and out of flowering time.
