Fairly fast growing erect low-branching shrub to 4m x 3m wide with dense bunches of yellow flowers. Very hardy, handles sites from very wet to quite dry. Moderately frost tolerant. Naturally grows along stream beds and banks but has been used successfully as a street planting in Springwood.
