It has been a tough year for plants at the nursery! The constant rain, cool temperatures and low light levels have all contributed to slow growth in our new plants. We have also had considerable losses among many species due to so much rain, and cuttings have been slow to come on.
Having stayed open all through winter we now find our stock levels are very low, and new replacement plants have not been growing fast enough to restock. Hopefully the weather is warming up a bit and young plants will soon be growing better.
To allow time for this growth so plants are stronger and healthier for planting, we are closing the nursery for sales for most of October. We thank all our loyal patrons for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Providing growth rates have improved, we will reopen again for MEMBERS ONLY on the last weekend in October, that's Fri 28th and Sat 29th October.
