After at least six months of effort, Wildplant Rescue has finally been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) This means that anyone making a gift or donation of $2 or more to further our work at the nursery, can claim that amount as a deduction on their Income Tax.
The nursery would especially like to thank the Pro Bono Team at Baker Mackenzie for their help and advocacy on our behalf through the long process of establishing our eligibility.
Gifts or donations can be made in cash, cheque, via card at the nursery, or with a direct deposit to our bank account, all the details of which are on the membership page. Once we receive your gift we will issue you a receipt for your records come tax time.
As you know we are a not-for-profit charity registered yearly with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC) so you can be assured that all gifts and donations we receive will go 100% to the cause!
